Namhae Mijo Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. is developing a 384MW fixed-bottom
offshore wind farm in the waters off Guryong-ri, Sangju-myeon,
Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Donghang-ri, Yokji-myeon, Tongyeong-si.

The Namhae Mijo Offshore Wind Project is a 384MW fixed-bottom offshore wind farm under development in the waters off Namhae-gun and Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, and is advancing based on coexistence with local communities after securing a generation license and completing the Environmental Impact Assessment, positioning itself as a leading offshore wind project in Korea.

Offshore wind projects generate long-term economic benefits over approximately 25–30 years from construction through operation, creating jobs, attracting population inflow, and revitalizing local businesses to energize regional economies.

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) conducted during offshore wind development is a mandatory process that analyzes and evaluates environmental impacts in advance, aiming to minimize damage and promote coexistence with nature through systematic and scientific review; Namhae Mijo Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. submitted the draft in September 2023 and completed the EIA in September 2025 following expert studies and consultations with relevant authorities.
